Starting May 1, several smartphone devices will no longer support the operation of WhatsApp, one of the most downloaded applications in the world. The list includes several models with Android operating system, such as Motorola, Lenovo, Huawei, Xiaomi, LG, Sony and Samsung, as well as some iPhone.
Anyone who owns any of the devices on this list should provide a backup of their messages to ensure they are not lost or migrate them to a new model.
When WhatsApp stops supporting a version of an operating system, users lose benefits such as updates, system fixes and technical support in general, which compromises the operation of the application on the device.
