Sukabumi – The Sultan’s Basket tourist attraction in the Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge area, Kadudampit, Sukabumi Regency is showing off its popularity as a world-famous tourist attraction.
Several foreign tourists reportedly visited the tour. In fact, this tourist attraction also attracted the attention of the American actor famous for the film Man in Black, Will Smith.
In his personal Instagram account, Will Smith re-shared the video uploaded by @asepmulayanadam. The video shows the atmosphere when residents ride the Sultan’s Basket ride in Situ Gunung.

President Director of PT Fontis Aqua Vivam Marcelinus responded positively to this. He said that Situ Gunung has now started to attract world tourists.
“The response was positive for Indonesian tourism, especially natural tourism. He asked where it was, and actually I also follow Will Smith’s Instagram, only this morning I saw that we answered from the glamping_ciwidey account because it’s still under management,” said Marcel when confirmed.
Apart from that, Marcel said, Situ Gunung has also received several foreign tourists. One of them was a group from an international school from Singapore.
“If a world-class tourist attraction is already underway, last February, our group of guests were from the Singapore American School. The best school in Singapore for four nights they were here (Situ Gunung),” he said.
He said that Sultan’s Basket is a tourist attraction that has been around since last year. Sultan’s Basket is a hanging chair ride in the form of a basket made of rattan.
Instead of being intended for sitting and relaxing, the Sultan’s Basket is actually made to stimulate tourists’ adrenaline. The Sultan’s Basket runs across the river with a route 100 meters long.
This Sultan chair is safe for tourists, because it is attached to a steel rope (sling) and uses a motorbike as the driving force. There are four baskets provided and tourists can ride them in turns, so visitors must queue to be able to enjoy the sensation of this sliding chair.
If detikers are interested in riding the Sultan’s Basket ride, the location is on Jalan Kadudampit, Gede Pangrango Village, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Operational hours are 07.00-16.00 WIB on weekdays and 07.00-17.00 WIB on weekends and high season. Ticket prices start from IDR 100 thousand to IDR 300 thousand.
