36-year-old Kamila Grabska argued in court that because of the accident she could no longer carry groceries and play with her children. She is also said to have become incapacitated for work, which is why she believed she was entitled to the sky-high compensation from her insurance.

However, the court did not agree with the woman’s story. A video was shown at the hearing in which the woman played with a large, strong dog for half an hour, the Irish newspaper Irish Independent reports.

Moreover, not long after the accident, the woman took part in a Christmas tree throwing competition. She won the competition and a local newspaper published a photo of her.

These actions did not match the woman’s claim that she suffered from constant pain in her back and neck. Reason for the judge to rule that the woman exaggerated her complaints and to reject the claim for damages.
