Maastricht –

The performances of the cabaret duo Yentl and de Boer will not take place on Friday and Saturday.

Management informed the ANP of this. Christine de Boer will take a rest in the coming days on doctor’s advice and that is why the performances in Lochem and Nieuwegein will be moved.

De Boer (40) suddenly became unwell on Wednesday evening during a performance in Maastricht. The show in the Theater aan het Vrijthof was therefore canceled prematurely. A replacement date is being sought for the performances in Maastricht, Lochem and Nieuwegein.

“It was very shocking, but considering the circumstances Christine is doing very well,” says her management. “After extensive examination last night in the hospital, it turned out that nothing was wrong and she was allowed to go home.” The duo is currently performing in Dutch theaters with the performance Moddercreepers, which was previously awarded a Poelifinario.

Very shocked

Director Brigitte van Eck of Theater aan het Vrijthof says she was very shocked when Christine de Boer fell on stage and stayed down. “Both from the audience – for which I would like to thank you again – and behind the scenes, immediate action was taken to call in the medical services, close the curtain and be the first to take care of Christine and to take care of Yentl, the musicians and the technicians ”, she responds.
