Yin yoga focuses on long-held,passive poses that target the deep connective tissues (fascia) of the body. This practice encourages emotional release and cultivates a sense of deep relaxation. Prepare to surrender, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your inner self.
Preparing for Your Practice
Before you begin, find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. You’ll need a yoga mat, and optionally, blankets or bolsters for added support. Wear cozy clothing that allows for a full range of motion.
Begin by sitting comfortably with your spine straight and your shoulders relaxed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,noticing the rise and fall of your abdomen. this is a moment to arrive and set an intention for your practice.
The sequence
1.Butterfly Pose (Baddha Konasana)
Frist,bring the soles of your feet together,allowing your knees to fall open to the sides. You can stay upright, or gently fold forward from your hips, keeping your spine as straight as possible.
Allow your breath to soften and release any tension in your hips and groin. Hold for 3-5 minutes.

2. Reclined Butterfly Pose (Supta Baddha Konasana)
next, gently lower your back to the mat, supporting your head with a blanket if needed. Continue to allow your knees to fall open,feeling a gentle stretch in your inner thighs.
Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Hold for 3-5 minutes.

3.Supported Bridge pose (Setu Bandhasana)
than, bend your knees and place your feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Lift your hips off the mat and slide a block (or rolled blanket) underneath your sacrum.

After that, draw your knees into your chest. Extend your arms out to the sides, and gently drop both knees to one side, keeping your shoulders grounded.
Turn your head to look in the opposite direction of your knees. Hold for 3-5 minutes, then repeat on the other side.

Now, pull your knees toward your chest, separating them about hip distance. Either draw your knees toward your shoulders while holding onto your shins, or hold onto the outer edges of your feet, soles of the feet facing the ceiling.
Stack your ankles over your knees as you draw your knees toward the mat. Try to ground your tailbone and lengthen your spine. Hold for 3-5 minutes.
