Young man arrested who killed elderly woman and hid body in chest in Huambo –

The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in Huambo has already detained the citizen accused of the death of the 64-year-old woman whose body was found inside a freezer, at her residence, in the Ministers neighborhood, in the city of Huambo.

The accused, aged 17, is the grandson of the domestic worker who found the body of the deceased on April 3, already in an advanced state of decomposition.

As reported by , according to neighbors, the citizen lived alone in the residence and, throughout the day, only had the company of the domestic worker.

The information was provided by the SIC spokesperson in Huambo, sub-inspector Abel Kangombe.

The main suspect confesses to the crime and says that he went to the victim’s house to collect a debt worth 1500 kwanzas for the gardening service provided. On that occasion, the young man allegedly struck the victim several times and then suffocated her with the handle of a broom.

Dismayed neighbors regret what happened and call for justice.
