In April 2026, a charitable livestream organized by Polish YouTuber Łatwogang captured national attention as it raised unprecedented funds for children battling cancer. The initiative, centered around a song titled “Ciągle tutaj jestem (diss na raka)” performed by young cancer patient Maja Mecan and rapper Bedeosa 2115, evolved into a nine-day fundraising marathon that united celebrities, athletes, and ordinary citizens across Poland in support of the Cancer Fighters Foundation.
The campaign began with a simple idea: employ music to draw attention to pediatric oncology. According to reports from Polish media outlets, Łatwogang, whose real name is Patryk Garkowski, launched the livestream on his YouTube channel with an initial goal of raising between 200,000 and 500,000 złoty. But, as the stream progressed over nine consecutive days, the total donations surpassed early expectations by a significant margin, ultimately exceeding 251 million złoty by the conclusion of the event.
Throughout the broadcast, dozens of influencers, musicians, athletes, and public figures joined the stream, contributing both their presence and financial support. Major corporations also made substantial donations, helping to drive the total to record-breaking levels. The effort was described by observers as a rare moment of national unity, with people from all walks of life participating in the cause.
Łatwogang, a Warsaw-based content creator born around 2003, has built a following through challenge-based content on platforms like TikTok and YouTube. Prior to this campaign, he was known for feats such as a徒步 journey from Gdynia to Kraków and a bicycle trip to Africa, as well as social media records including a photo of his foot that garnered over 1.2 million likes within 24 hours on Instagram—a national benchmark at the time.
The Cancer Fighters Foundation, which benefited from the fundraiser, provides support to children and adults undergoing cancer treatment. The funds raised during the livestream were directed toward improving care, access to treatment, and emotional support services for young patients facing illnesses such as leukemia, of which Maja Mecan—a recurring guest on the stream—is currently undergoing her third relapse.
By the final day of the stream, Łatwogang expressed gratitude to participants, noting the overwhelming response and announcing his intention to return to his regular content creation after the event concluded. The campaign remains one of the largest charitable efforts in recent Polish history, notable not only for the amount raised but also for the widespread civic engagement it inspired.
