Prepare to be enchanted by over one million environmentally friendly LED twinkle lights and more than 100 illuminated animal lanterns.You’ll stroll along the zoo’s main walkway,immersed in scenes depicting rainforests,deserts,and even playful pandas.

Admission for zoolights begins at 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the last entry at 9 p.m. On Sundays, the last entry is at 8 p.m., and the zoo closes 30 minutes after the entry cutoff. Remember, the National Zoo remains open and free during regular daytime hours.

Getting There & Parking
Parking passes cost $30. Though, consider using the Metro for a convenient and stress-free journey.
* Red Line: Exit at the Cleveland Park station for a downhill walk to the zoo.
* Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams morgan: Exit here for a slightly uphill walk on your return trip.
