Formed in 1987 in Reading, England, Chapterhouse quickly became synonymous with the burgeoning shoegaze scene. Their albums, notably Whirlpool, are considered cornerstones of the genre. After disbanding in 1994, the band briefly reunited in 2008 for a special performance and then again in 2010 for a short tour. Now, they’re ready to share their signature sound with a new generation.
