Honor Unveils New Logo and Shifts Focus to Open AI Ecosystem

Technology group Honor unveiled a new brand logo and strategic pivot on Wednesday, shifting its primary focus from smartphone manufacturing to an open AI ecosystem. The company introduced an internal-turned-global slogan Dare to be alongside hardware projects including its first Robot Phone and a marathon-running humanoid robot.

Honor is reshaping its brand identity and long-term corporate strategy, according to an announcement on Wednesday. Rather than positioning itself primarily as a smartphone manufacturer, the technology group aims to operate as a provider of an open artificial intelligence ecosystem where devices and software collaborate more closely, as reported by Heute.

From Smartphone Maker to Open AI Ecosystem

The company stated that the new visual appearance and logo mark the beginning of a fresh corporate chapter. As part of this transition, the internal slogan Dare to be has become Honor’s official worldwide brand tagline. The firm characterizes this shift as a long-term strategic evolution rather than a temporary update to its marketing presentation.

Company officials explained that the strategy is designed to redesign the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence. The objective is to connect hardware and software beyond traditional product boundaries through what Honor terms its long-term Alpha Strategy and AHI Philosophy.

Robot Phones and Humanoid Marathon Runners

To demonstrate its broader research and development scope, Honor highlighted several concrete projects that extend far beyond conventional consumer electronics. Among these is the introduction of the world’s first Robot Phone, intended to establish an entirely new product category.

Additionally, the manufacturer drew attention to its humanoid robot development. According to corporate statements, the robot successfully completed a half-marathon, serving as proof that company engineering efforts now reach well beyond standard mobile hardware.

Agentic OS and AiMAGE Software Integration

Software integration forms a central pillar of the new framework. Honor plans to move past isolated on-device AI features toward a system-wide synergy powered by an AI-driven operating system designated as Agentic OS.

In mobile imaging, the brand points to its AiMAGE processing system, which splits computational tasks between the smartphone and cloud infrastructure. Furthermore, Honor maintains a partnership with camera manufacturer Arri to refine mobile photographic capabilities.

Global Market Growth and Open Partnerships

Honor emphasizes that its cross-device ecosystem relies heavily on collaborations with external partner companies rather than remaining restricted to single product categories. Parallel to these technical changes, the brand intends to appeal more directly to younger demographics via international events, design partnerships, and projects outside traditional mobile sales.

According to corporate figures, this strategic repositioning is already reflected in financial performance. In the first quarter of 2026, Honor achieved a growth rate of 25 percent, marking it as the only Chinese smartphone brand to post positive growth during that timeframe. More than half of the company’s revenue is now generated outside its home market, and Honor reports holding the number-two position in the global foldable smartphone sector.
