Asked if there is a question of a common candidate for the Capital City Hall, Simonis explained that all options are on the table.

“All options are on the table. Both from the PSD and the PNL, but also the option of a joint candidate who can be a PNL or PSD member. The information of a candidate to be assumed by the two parties was also circulated. The old arrogance that “I am the best” no longer fits our times. We take measurements, we see what the people of Bucharest want and we will support those who have the best chance to save Bucharest from this catastrophe, named Nicușor Dan”, said Alfred Simonis.

Also, when asked about his opinion in relation to Nicușor Dan, he stated that “during these four years as mayor, Bucharest has stagnated”.

“During these four years as mayor, Bucharest has stagnated, to be elegant. It was a mayoral catastrophe, but I don’t even vote in Bucharest, I don’t want to speak out very loudly”, said Alfred Simonis.
