André Hazes does not care what happens to his father’s inheritance. That’s what the singer said RTL Boulevard in response to the legal case between his sister Roxeanne and mother Rachel. “I was never really concerned.”

The case between Roxeanne and Rachel concerns, among other things, whether Rachel can continue to call herself heir of André Hazes senior.

Previously, the Central Netherlands court decided that Rachel can continue to call herself heiress of André Hazes senior, even though she is officially not. The case is still ongoing because Roxeanne has initiated so-called substantive proceedings, in which another judge is considering that question.

“Nothing surprises me anymore,” says thirty-year-old André in the interview. “I’ve never really worried about an inheritance or anything.” According to the singer, that is also the reason why he does not interfere in the matter between his sister and mother. “One thing is important to me: that the name Hazes is treated well. Being able to do whatever they want with that shitty money, that honestly doesn’t bother me.”

André has had difficult relationships with his sister and mother for a long time. The singer is currently working on his bond with Roxeanne. “We are taking it very slowly,” he says. “We don’t have coffee together every day. But the contact is very good.”
