Apple Spring Product Push: New MacBooks,iPhones,iPads, and Displays on the Horizon
Apple is gearing up for a busy spring, with a wave of new product launches expected in the coming weeks. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is “preparing for an event” in March, possibly as early as the week of March 2nd,coinciding with the macOS 26.3 cycle.
The centerpiece of the announcements is expected to be updated MacBook Pros powered by the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. Gurman previously reported this launch timeframe, and has now reiterated Apple’s preparations.
However, the updates don’t stop there. Apple is also planning to release several other new products, including:
* iPhone 17e: A new, more affordable iPhone model is on its way.
* New Base Model iPad: An updated entry-level iPad is also anticipated.
* M4 iPad Air: The iPad Air will receive a significant upgrade with the introduction of the M4 chip.
Gurman highlights a potentially groundbreaking new MacBook as particularly exciting – a lower-cost model powered by the A18 Pro chip. He believes this coudl be one of Apple’s most significant product launches in quite some time.
Beyond these confirmed products, Apple is also reportedly working on new external displays. Gurman notes that this is a category Apple has historically neglected, despite the importance of high-quality external displays for many Mac users.
The flurry of upcoming releases promises a dynamic period for Apple enthusiasts.
