The Meteorological Authority continued: During this period, the country is affected by an extension of a depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere accompanied by air masses coming from northern Europe that work to return temperatures to their normal levels at this time of the year.

She added: Also, the depression that the country is witnessing is accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity in areas of the north of the country, and this is normal because we are in the spring season when there are rapid weather fluctuations, stressing that therefore there is no impact of this storm on us.

The General Meteorological Authority appealed to all its followers not to pay attention to such rumors and urges the need to follow the weather bulletins issued by the General Meteorological Authority.

Today, Monday, will witness warm weather during the day in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, tending to warmth on the northern coasts, tending to heat in South Sinai and North Upper Egypt, hot in South Upper Egypt, tending to cold at night and in the early morning in the north of the country until North Upper Egypt, and pleasant in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt. .

Today, light rain is expected, which may be moderate in the evening, and moderate rain and thunderstorms at times, in southern Lower Egypt, and chances of moderate rain, which may be heavy at times, and thunderstorms in areas of Matrouh, Alexandria, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Damietta, and chances of light rain, which may be moderate in the evening, on the northeastern coasts, central Sinai, and cities. Canal, and chances of light rain in areas of Fayoum and Beni Suef, with active winds in most parts of the Republic, causing sand and dust in northern Upper Egypt.
