A History of Indian Performances
Axwell’s connection with India dates back to 2007,establishing him as a pioneer in bringing electronic music to the contry. He first headlined Sunburn in Goa in 2011, and later returned with swedish house Mafia in 2013 for a memorable tour.
Furthermore, he performed as part of Axwell^Ingrosso in 2018, alongside Sebastian Ingrosso. Most recently, Axwell energized crowds with a mid-inning show at Chennai’s M. Chidambaram Stadium during the Indian Premier League in 2024.
