An Ontario man has been receiving lifetime driving bans and has no plans to stop at four convictions after being apprehended for stealing a car and finding himself behind the wheel when he was not allowed to do so.

Nirmal Singh was caught red-handed when he was arrested on April 11 in Brampton by officers from the Peel Regional Police, the police service explained in a press release on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old man faces one count of theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of driving while disqualified and six counts of breach of probation for his last arrest.

However, this is not his first driving offense as he has already been found guilty of 43 other charges, including driving while disqualified, dangerous driving, impaired driving, car theft and fleeing the police. , among others.

Held pending a bail hearing, he could add a fifth lifetime driving ban against him.
