Broncos duo Adam Reynolds and Patrick Carrigan have been issued a breach notice by the NRL following their late-night antics last weekend.

The pair were captured on camera wrestling after a night out in Brisbane, which followed the club’s official fan day ahead of the 2024 season.

Reynolds and Carrigan have since fronted the media and apologised for their actions, with both players awaiting a potential sanction from the NRL and their club.

In a statement released on Friday afternoon by the NRL, it was revealed that Reynolds and Carrigan will have five days to respond to the notice.

Broncos captain Adam Reynolds addresses the bombshell brawl video of teammates.

“Both players are alleged to have engaged in a physical altercation in public which has brought the game into disrepute,” the statement read.

“The NRL has reminded other players involved in the incident of their responsibilities under the NRL code of conduct.”

According to a report from The Sydney Morning Herald, the pair have been fined for their involvement in the incident, but will be free to travel to Las Vegas for the Broncos’ season opener against the Sydney Roosters on March 3.

Fines of $5000 to $10,000 each have been proposed by the NRL, with the club yet to confirm whether or not Reynolds and Carrigan will accept their punishment.
