The 87,000-square-foot facility, slated to open in ⁢Spring 2027, ⁢underscores ChristianaCare’s commitment to accessible, affordable, and advanced healthcare services.

ChristianaCare’s⁣ presence in Middletown dates ‍back to 2009 with the acquisition of a ⁤108-acre parcel. The existing freestanding emergency department, opened ‍in 2012, has consistently exceeded expectations, serving over 32,000 patient visits last⁢ year – more than double its initial projections.
