Construction of five water reservoirs

Drilling projects are currently being finalized, as well as the installation of water sanitation infrastructure. This is a water supply project for the city of Antananarivo, as is the case in Ampefiloha Ambodirano. In this district, approximately one thousand two hundred and forty people will benefit.

In addition, seven other areas will also be provided with water sanitation infrastructure. Forty-six thousand people will benefit from this water supply. In regions such as Boeny, Anosy, Matsiatra- Ambony, Fitovinany, Betsiboka, Bongolava, Melaky, etc., water supply projects are also moving forward. Some projects are being finalized, while others have already been inaugurated, such as that of Menabe, inaugurated on March 22, 2024 on the occasion of World Water Day.

During the first hundred days of the mandate of the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, two thousand one hundred and thirty-two standpipes were constructed and approximately eighty-nine thousand eight hundred and fifty people benefited. now has a new supply of drinking water.
