“He went down,” O’Rourke stated, her voice filled wiht anguish. “my daughter-in-law and granddaughter escaped… They saw my son go down and they saw blood.”
Emily ernst, another witness, described seeing a gunman dressed entirely in black, wearing a mask. She acted quickly,fleeing through the kitchen to escape the danger.
“He had a mask on,” Ernst said. “We just saw him raise the gun and then we ran. I ran through the kitchen for my life.”
