Passenger cruise ship This received a special letter from the ship’s captain. It contains an appeal for passengers not to just enter certain tourist attractions.

Reporting from UNILAD on Saturday (4/5), Eduardo Ferrone was the captain of a Carnival Cruises cruise ship. At that time the ship docked in Mexico and passengers were allowed to disembark.

Before leaning in, he distributed a letter to all passengers. He specifically requested that passengers not enter any of the tourist attractions in the City of Ensenada.

“You may proceed to a restaurant/attraction (not related to the ship’s shore excursion program) in Ensenada harbor that offers visitors to touch or interact with tiger cubs. For public health, safety and environmental reasons, we advise you not to do so, including for enjoyment tiger cub attraction,” he wrote.

This letter was then posted by ship passengers and received many comments from netizens on Reddit.

“The same thing happened in Cabo. We were told that tiger cubs are given medicine to keep them tame. We didn’t actually see it, but it has been mentioned several times. How sad,” wrote one netizen.

“That’s right, I was in Ensenada for a year and became friends with the barista at the place where the tiger attraction was, he told me the whole process,” added another.

“I really appreciate this sentiment, I just hope they also mention animal welfare as a reason for not participating,” said another.
