CSB.school Wins Regional Contract to Boost cybersecurity Training in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
CSB.school, a training institution dedicated to developing and integrating talent into the cybersecurity field, has been awarded a contract by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region following a competitive bidding process. This win recognizes the school’s efforts to build a cybersecurity training program aligned with the needs of businesses,according to Patrice Chelim,its founder.
“Our role is to create bridges between talent, public actors, and employers, to make cybersecurity a driver of enduring employment throughout the territory,” chelim stated.
The program will offer training in three key areas: Analyste SOC (Security Operations Centre), Chargé de Gouvernance, Risques et Conformité (GRC – Governance, risk, and Compliance), and Technicien Sécurité Réseau (Network Security Technician).Participants will benefit from:
* 6 months of intensive training at CSB.school’s facility on the Campus Région du numérique in Charbonnières-les-Bains (69).
* 4 months of mandatory practical experience in a professional setting.
* individualized job placement support in collaboration with France Travail (formerly Pôle Emploi) and regional companies.
These programs are designed to address the critically important skills shortage in the cybersecurity sector and support reskilling initiatives for individuals seeking career changes.
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region’s investment underscores its commitment to establishing digital technology and cybersecurity as key areas of excellence and future growth. The initiative will enable hundreds of job seekers and new entrants each year to access demanding training designed to facilitate professional integration and strengthen the region’s digital sovereignty.
Beyond leading the Cyber Expert portion of the Lyon Academy, CSB.school will leverage its expertise in the Clermont-Ferrand and Grenoble Academies through partnerships with Human Booster, a recognized provider of inclusive training and employment support, and Campus in the Alps, an ecosystem fostering innovation in pedagogy and technology focused on digital and future industries.
