TUCSON, AZ – The​ Pima County Sheriff’s Department ‍continues its intensive search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, entering the 17th day of the investigation. Despite analyzing DNA evidence recovered from gloves believed to have been worn by the suspected abductor, the FBI’s national database has not produced any matches, officials reported today.

According to a statement released by department spokesperson Angelica Carrillo on February 17th, further DNA evidence collected from Guthrie’s residence remains under analysis. Investigators are meticulously examining all potential leads in hopes of identifying the person responsible for Guthrie’s disappearance.
