Florentina Satmari, one of Romania’s greatest TV producers, has died. The sad news was announced by Matilda Pascal Cojocărița, popular music performer, one of Florentina Satmari’s close collaborators.

Graduated from the Conservatory, classical singing department

A graduate of the “Ciprian Porumbescu” Conservatory of Music – classical singing section, Florentina Satmari wrote a golden page in the history of TVR thanks to the countless popular music shows she produced at the suggestion and guidance of the great television personality Tudor Vornicu.

He discovered and launched many young talents that today can be found in the Golden Film Library of TVR, he produced together with Paul Urmuzescu shows-shows entitled “Allhambra la Tănase”, but also shows about the creation of great composers, he was involved in organizing Festivals: “Golden Chrysanthemum” from Târgovişte, “Maria Tănase” from Craiova.
