Gasoline price remains at 300 kwanzas, guarantees Massano –

The price of gasoline will remain at 300 kwanzas after April 30th. The information was revealed this Monday, 22nd, at a meeting that the Minister of Economic Coordination, José de Lima Massano, held with government partners to present the outline of the change in the prices of oil services.

Massano confirmed that after the 30th of the current month, the date scheduled for the total removal of the gasoline subsidy, a liter of gasoline will continue to cost three hundred kwanzas.

However, diesel, which until yesterday cost Kz 135 kwanzas, rose to 200 kwanzas, according to the measure that came into force in the early hours of this Tuesday.

As I told Radio the President of ANATA, who participated in the meeting at the Palácio à Cidade Alta, the taxi fare table will be known after April 30th of the current year.

Other heads of ministerial departments such as Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas took part in the meeting.

It should be remembered that the last change in the price of fuel occurred in June 2023, when a liter of gasoline went from 160 kwanzas to the current Kz 300.
