Significant Updates to Enhance Your Gameplay Experience
A considerable update has recently been released, designed to improve stability, fix critical bugs, and refine your overall experience within the game. This release focuses on addressing performance issues, resolving crashes, and enhancing the core gameplay loops. As of August 26, 2025, these changes are now live and available for all players.
Key Improvements and New Features
- Buggy Management: A new option allows you to send all Buggies back to the nest, irrespective of their current status anywhere in The Park.
- Save Data Management: the user interface now displays facts regarding save data limits, which are capped at 10 saves per world. Did You Know? Prior to this update, players could accumulate hundreds of saves, leading to performance degradation. It’s recommended you delete unneeded saves to optimize performance.
Major Bug Fixes for a Smoother Experience
We’ve dedicated significant effort to improving game stability, resulting in an estimated 30% performance gain compared to version 0.1.2.1. This is an ongoing process, and we will continue to refine performance and stability throughout Early Access.

Furthermore, login issues with Microsoft accounts across all platforms have been corrected. I’ve found that addressing these connectivity issues was a top priority for our community.
Progression and Gameplay Fixes

The Park – Environmental and Structural Improvements
Resources will no longer respawn through player-built structures. You will need to clear any resources currently growing within your base after the update, but they should not reappear. This change aims to provide more control over your base’s environment.
ORC creatures will now maintain their designated guard posts instead of wandering aimlessly. This enhances the strategic element of encounters and provides a more predictable challenge. Additionally, issues prompting players to repurchase pebblet foundations have been fixed, and players should no longer spawn on top of the skybox.
Buggies – Refinements and Accessibility
The unused Torch user interface element has been removed from the Buggy interface. However, you can still equip a torch to your Buggy using the following methods:
- Mouse and Keyboard: Press “5” or use “V” for the Hotpouch.
- Controller: Hold “LB” then use the Right stick to select the torch.

A bug where only two mutations were equipped after saving and loading has been fixed.Multiple bugs related to equipment loss have also been addressed, ensuring your hard-earned gear remains secure. The mantis’s jump attack animation has been corrected to prevent it from freezing mid-air. Pro Tip: Regularly back up your save files to prevent data loss, especially during Early Access.
A bug preventing players from retrieving certain ORC Creature cards after defeating them has been resolved. This fix is retroactive to your existing save file, meaning you should be able to obtain any previously missed cards.
Audio – Refining the Soundscape
various robotic voice issues affecting certain teenagers have been corrected, improving the overall audio experience and immersion.
user Interface – Clarity and Functionality
Rust will now display correctly rather of showing as an “Invalid Harvest Node.” The issue where changing the Omni-Tool Key Bind in the Settings did not update the user interface prompt for the “Repair” action has been fixed. Furthermore, conflicts between the Omni-Tool and Interact key binds have been resolved.
