Culiacán, Sin. -Given the importance of completing the vaccination schedule for minors, the Ministry of Health in Sinaloa intensified the vaccination day against measles, especially in the most remote parts of the state, reported the head of the agency, Cuitláhuac González Galindo.

The official pointed out that they still have a significant number to attend to, which is why it intensified especially in the municipalities where there is less coverage and that is what the health sector is focused on at the moment.

Likewise, González Galindo assured that since the campaign began, 19 thousand vaccines have been applied, but he recognizes that they still need a significant number to reach the goal.

He added that six-year-old children already have the two doses they need for the complete scheme, to which he acknowledged that one-year-old children have a difficulty.
