Kozhikode – Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the cabinet started the first public service of ‘Navakerala Bus’ which traveled all over Kerala. The Garuda Premium service from Kozhikode to Bengaluru started at 4:30 in the morning. Shortly after starting the journey, the hydraulic door broke down. The door of the bus was opening by itself from time to time. When the wind started blowing strongly, the bus stopped when it reached Karantur. Under the leadership of the passengers, they tied the door with the rope of the bag and continued their journey. Then the door fault was fixed from Battery Depot. It is reported that the cause of the problem was that the emergency exit switch was left on. Meanwhile, when it stopped for food at Gundalpet, the passengers were let out through the back door. Even though the fault has been resolved, the employees are afraid that if the door is opened, the problem will arise again.

It was announced that the journey would start at 4 o’clock, but the journey started at 4:30. The bus received reception at Tamarassery. Online facility for seat booking was provided on 30th of April. When the Navakerala bus was welcomed at Tamarassery

Although the Kozhikode-Bengaluru route is a regular service, on May Day the journey to get the bus to Kozhikode was changed to Thiruvananthapuram- Kozhikode service. 9 booked passengers boarded the bus from Thambanoor terminal. The person was picked up on the way. While trying to park at the Kozhikode stand, the sides of the bus got scratched and the paint went off. The walker was brought to the workshop and painted.

When the bus was traveling with the ministry, the bus was brought to Kozhikode by the driver and conductor who were on duty. After reaching Kozhikode, the first Bengaluru service started this morning. After the Navakerala audience, there was a discussion about what to do with the bus.
