Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The GetContact application is often used to identify other people’s phone numbers, even ones we have never saved.

This application can also be used to see the identity of our contact names stored on other users’ cellphones.

However, sometimes this feature disturbs users in terms of privacy. No need to worry because there is a way to hide your cellphone number on GetContact so that other people can’t find it.

To avoid this, you can use a feature called Visibility. This feature will make the user’s number undetectable by other users. People who search for your number will not get tag results or any information.

Here’s how to hide numbers in GetContact:

• Go to https://www.getcontact.com/en/manage
• Login with WhatsApp or SMS. If you have WhatsApp, scan the QR Code displayed and send the text to the WhatsApp Get Contact account
• The user will enter the Home page
• Select the Visibility Settings menu
• Slide the toggle to turn off Search Visibility
• Next a notification will appear and select the Yes button
• Done, your number has been hidden. You can try it by searching for the cellphone number in Get Contact.
