ISLAMABAD – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi threatens to annihilate Israel if the Zionist colonial regime tries to attack Iran again.
Raisi arrived in Pakistan on Monday (22/4/2024) for a three-day visit. He discussed recent tensions between Tehran and West Jerusalem at an event in Punjab on Tuesday.
“If the Zionist regime once again makes a mistake and attacks Iran’s holy land, the situation will be different, and it is not clear whether this regime will survive,” stressed Raisi, quoted by state news agency IRNA.
Israel has never officially acknowledged the April 1 airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria that killed seven senior officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Quds Force.
But Tehran retaliated on April 13 by firing more than 300 drones and missiles at several targets in Israel.
Iran ignored a series of reports of explosions near the city of Isfahan last Friday, which were reportedly a response from Israel.
West Jerusalem did not acknowledge reports of the attack, and criticized a cabinet minister who spoke about it unusually.

Tehran chose to ignore it rather than carry out the swift and brutal retaliation as promised.
