The new chairman of Heber’s management board, Vladimir Gadjev, spoke on television before the rematch with Ludogorets for the Bulgarian Cup.

Logically, Gadjev was asked about the number of footballers with expiring contracts and the future of head coach Lyubo Penev, who is expected to return to CSKA. Gadjev stated succinctly that he wanted Penev to stay.

“We are trying to improve the situation in the club, we need partners and support. I dare say that we are in good communication with a large part of them. We have support, but I hope this will increase and stabilize the club. In recent days, articles appear that do not correspond to the truth. The things that are written about our football players are not true.

I hope there will be no danger of relegation, we have plans. Naturally, we need time to do what we want. We will also comply with the funding we have. First we have to do our job and stay in the group, which is the main goal. It is unpleasant when false things are written about our club. I can safely say that for the most part they are not true. Yes, we have guys with expiring contracts, but that doesn’t mean anything,” said Gadjev.

He also commented on the case of Lubo Penev staying:

“It depends on many things, our wish is clear to everyone that we want to continue working with Ljubo Penev. We will have to help ourselves financially to afford a good Heber team. I hope we will succeed, we want Lyuboslav Penev to stay,” said Gadjev.
