The spotlight is still on Unipol and UnipolSAI, after the rally recorded in Friday’s session. Telecom Italia shines. Negative tone for Juventus FC

The major indices of the Italian Stock Exchange and the main European financial markets recorded fractional discounts in the first session of the week. Today Wall Street will remain closed for holidays.

At 10.15 am FTSEMib was down 0.25% at 31,652 points, while the FTSE Italia All Share lost 0.26%. Minus sign also for the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-0.38%) and for the FTSE Italia Star (-0,68%).

Il bitcoin it stands at just over 52,000 dollars (just under 48,500 euros).

Lo spread Btp-Bund it went above 145 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP coming in below 3.9%.

L’euro it came close to $1.08.

Spotlight still on Unipol (-3,31%) e UnipolSAI (+0.08%), after the rally recorded in Friday’s session.

Fractionally rising UniCredit (+0,2% a 29,85 euro). The institute’s board of directors has approved a list of candidates for the appointment of members of the Board of Directors. The list also includes the president, Pietro Carlo Padoan, and the CEO, Andrea Orcel.

At the FTSEMib, the rise of Telecom Italia TIM stands out (+4.1% to 0.2895 euros). Bank of America analysts have increased the target price on the telephone company, bringing it to 0.4 euros; the experts have also improved their judgment and now recommend buying the shares.

Juventus FC recorded a decline of 1.77% to 2.437 euros. The Juventus club has communicated the financial results for the 1st half of 2023/2024, a period closed with a net loss of 95.1 million euros. The company expects to close the financial year at a loss, higher than that of the previous financial year due to the significant negative effects deriving from the failure of the First Team to participate in UEFA competitions. On the contrary, net financial debt at the end of the year is expected to significantly reduce compared to that of 31 December 2023, mainly due to the completion of the capital increase.
