Mike James Praises zalgiris Kaunas’ Keenan Evans, Believes He Deserves a Bigger Stage
Former EuroLeague star Mike James has lauded Kaunas Žalgiris playmaker Keenan Evans, but believes the American guard is destined for a larger role at a more prominent club. James expressed his admiration for Evans while appearing on the URBONUS podcast with Donatas Urbonas.
“No disrespect to Žalgiris at all, but I can’t wait until he leaves,” James stated. “I just want to see him on a big team. I want to see what he does there. Not in a disrespectful way, but I want Keenan to get to a bigger club. sorry,” he added, addressing Žalgiris fans.
Evans is currently in his second season with Žalgiris and has consistently been the team’s leading scorer.
