Nowadays, if you participate in a reality show, you can count on the media turning up old childhood photos of you. This also applies to Jeppe, who can currently be seen in ‘Married at First Sight’. There are photos of him going around in which he looks very different, and he has not missed that. He talks very openly about his transformation on Instagram.
“The last weeks before the wedding were the hardest”
Jeppe can currently be seen in Married at First Sight, in which he forms a couple with Jantine. The two get along very well and seem like a match made in heaven. But what happens now? Jeppe underwent a real transformation before participating in the program. On Instagram he posts several photos of himself that show that he looked very different in 2020.
Jeppe says that at that time he weighed no less than 110 kilos. He says he ate so much fat due to stress. ‘Diet, quitting smoking and full-time exercise have ultimately led me to a healthier life. Of course this didn’t go straight away. In the summer of 2022 I managed to turn the switch and exercising and dieting started to take serious forms. In December of that year I quit smoking cold turkey and since then I have been fully exercising and dieting. The last weeks before the wedding were the hardest.’

It turns out that he had followed a heavy crash diet to look as slim as possible on the wedding day. ‘With a final weight of 83 kg. I thought it was a super achievement, but it was certainly not healthy! It was time to enjoy the whole adventure and the delicious food. So after a winter full of enjoyment and bulking, it’s now time for the cut again.’ Jeppe says he is looking forward to it again, although he is disappointed with one thing: ‘It’s a pity that I now have to give up those delicious sausages for a while!’ he jokes.
In any case, one thing is certain: both Jeppe and Jantine shine on their wedding day.
