The President of the United States (US) Joe Biden responded to the deaths of 3 soldiers as a result of a drone attack in Jordan. Joe Biden has decided how he will respond to the attack.

“Yes,” answered Joe Biden briefly after being asked ‘if he had decided how to respond to the attack’, as reported by CNN, Wednesday (31/1/2024).

Joe Biden did not continue his brief statement. He also has not specified what response he will make to the deaths of his three soldiers.

Even so, Joe Biden has emphasized his hope of preventing a wider conflict in the Middle East. “I don’t think we need a wider war in the Middle East. That’s not what I’m looking for,” he added.

For your information, last Sunday’s attack (28/1) occurred on a small outpost in Jordan. The attack was reportedly the first to kill American troops since the start of the Gaza war.

The slain military members were identified on Monday as Sergeant William Rivers (46) of Carrollton Georgia, Sergeant Kennedy Sanders (24 of Waycross Georgia, and Sergeant Breonna Moffett (23 of Savannah Georgia. Sanders and Moffett were posthumously promoted from the rank of specialist to sergeant, said the Army Reserve.
