Joost Klein’s Eurovision song makes its debut in a special broadcast of The Evening Show with Arjen Lubach. The singer and rapper will then be present in the program.
The clip will be shown for the first time on NPO1 on February 29 at 4:45 PM. In the one-off broadcast, entitled The Afternoon/Evening Show with Arjen Lubach LIVE, Klein answers questions about the song. He also discusses the preparations he is making for the Eurovision Song Contest.
AVROTROS announced on Tuesday that Klein’s song European Pope is called. The artist previously announced that his performance at the Eurovision Song Contest will be “one big party”.
In December, AVROTROS revealed that Klein will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest. The selection committee chose his song from more than six hundred entries. According to chairman Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen, his song had “the greatest hit potential”.
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will take place from May 7 to 11 in Malmö, Sweden. Klein starts his adventure in the second semi-final on May 9.
