El Puma Addresses Family Rift Amidst AI App Launch
Venezuelan singer José Luis Rodríguez, known as “El Puma,” faced a difficult question regarding his estranged relationship with his daughters, Liliana and Lilibeth Morillo, during the presentation of his new Artificial Intelligence request. The moment of tension arose when asked about the possibility of reconciliation.
When directly asked what it would take for a reunion with his daughters, Rodríguez was firm. “Nothing needs to happen, it won’t happen, don’t expect anything. I don’t do things to satisfy people, I do things as I believe I should, and when they aren’t necessary, I don’t do them. One can forgive things, but there’s a limit. Eventually, one gets tired of receiving so much,” the artist stated, making it clear he has no intention of yielding to public or media pressure.
During the interview, he only spoke about his youngest daughter, Génesis Rodríguez, and visibly changed his demeanor when questioned about a photograph including Liliana and Lilibeth Morillo. Liliana Rodríguez recently questioned El Puma on social media, later deleting the comment.
Years of Conflict
The conflict between “El Puma” and his daughters with singer Lila Morillo has been ongoing for years. A major turning point, according to reports, was the singer’s new family with model Carolina Pérez and the birth of Génesis.
Liliana and Lilibeth have repeatedly stated they felt displaced and that their father unilaterally cut off emotional ties.Rodríguez, in various interviews, has suggested that attacks and disrespect towards his current wife and youngest daughter were intolerable, creating a wall of silence that even his past health issues, including two lung transplants, could not overcome.
While “El Puma” focuses on his new technological projects and his close relationship with Génesis, the chapter with Liliana and Lilibeth appears, from his outlook, to be closed.
