British freestyle skier Kirsty Muir has made history by becoming the first woman from Great Britain to win both the slopestyle and overall park and pipe World Cup titles in the same season. The 21-year-old Scot secured the milestone with a second-place finish in the season finale held in Silvaplana, Switzerland, on March 28, 2026.
Muir’s achievement caps a breakthrough winter in which she consistently ranked among the sport’s elite, building on podium finishes in Aspen and Tignes earlier in the 2025-26 FIS Freeski World Cup circuit. Her performance in Switzerland — scoring 75.54 points behind winner Sarah Höfflin of Switzerland, who tallied 80.07 — was sufficient to clinch the slopestyle Crystal Globe with a season total of 280 points, 69 points clear of Canada’s Elena Gaskell.
The result also elevated Muir to first in the overall park and pipe standings, which combines slopestyle, sizeable air and halfpipe disciplines.
