The Story Behind “Golden”
EJAE (Kim Eun-jae), the co-writer and vocalist of Rumi for HUNTR/X, shared a deeply personal story during her acceptance speech.
“When I was a little girl, I worked tirelessly for 10 years to fill one dream: to become a K-pop idol. So, I leaned on songs and music to get through it – and now I’m hear as a singer and a songwriter.”

Ludwig Göransson’s win wasn’t his first; he previously received the same honor in 2024 for his work on Oppenheimer. A Snub and a Protest
Interestingly, the presentation of the Best Original Score award was omitted from the televised broadcast due to time constraints, a decision announced just days before the event. This sparked some controversy, with nominee Hans Zimmer expressing his disappointment.
