1969: bombings and the Arab Nationalist Front
On January 25, 1969, a series of bombings targeted prominent locations in Kuwait, including the National Assembly building, the home of the Minister of Interior and Defense Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem al-Sabah, and the Ministry of Interior. These attacks were carried out by members of what was known as the “Arab Liberation Front,” a splinter group from the Arab Nationalist Movement.
