This accomplishment represents a 16% increase over the 43 buckets fabricated in 2024, demonstrating the company’s growing efficiency and capacity in serving the Australian mining sector.
In-House Manufacturing and Quality Control
As a key national operation within the larger Liebherr Group, Liebherr-Australia uniquely manufactures all buckets for its range of mining excavators entirely in-house. Steve Smith, fabrication Manager for mining at Liebherr-Australia, highlighted the team’s achievement. “What the team in Adelaide was able to achieve in 2025 is outstanding,” he stated.
