Londrina City Hall, through the Municipal Health Department (SMS), will expand the 0Š4 0Š0o flu vaccine to the general public. To reach a greater number of people, SMS will open three Basic Health Units (UBSs) this Saturday (4), from 8am to 6pm, exclusively for the vaccine 0Š4 0Š0o against the flu.
The vaccine will be available to the entire population 0Š4 0Š0o over six months of age, without the need for an appointment, with service on demand.

Anyone who attends the health units will need to present a personal document and vaccination card 0Š4 0Š0o. And from Monday (6), the vaccine will be available in all Basic Health Units in the municipality. People who have an allergic reaction 0Š4 0Š0o to egg protein must inform 0Š4 0Š0o before the application, and anyone who has flu-like symptoms must wait until recovery 0Š4 0Š0o to be immunized.
“We issue an alert and an appeal, so that the population 0Š4 0Š0o seeks health units. If you can’t go on Saturday, try it during the week, as it is very important that we manage to vaccinate and protect the population against respiratory viruses now, before the arrival of winter and the cold¡±, said the Secretary of Health, Felippe Machado.
Dengue cases
In addition to the 0Š4 0‹1 vaccinations 0Š4 0Š0o against the flu, UBS Vivi Xavier will also open on Saturday (4), from 7am to 7pm, for exclusive service to dengue cases. The health unit, located in the northern region of the city, will join efforts with UBS Ouro Branco, open from 7am to 11pm, and with the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) of Jardim Sabar¨¢, open 24 hours, which are already 000 reference units in dengue care.
