Los 4 to Headline Santa Cruz de Tenerife’s 2026 Carnaval with New single
The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has announced that iconic cuban group Los 4 will be the headline act for the 2026 Carnaval, performing their updated version of the classic song “baila en la calle” as the official anthem. This year’s Carnaval is themed around Latin rhythms.
Los 4 will not only lend their sound to the official song but will also take center stage at two key Carnaval events: the vibrant Carnaval de Calle, promising to get thousands dancing, and the Queen Adulta Gala, where they will perform alongside local musical groups in what is anticipated to be a highlight of the evening.
Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez expressed his excitement, stating that having Los 4 perform for a Carnaval dedicated to latin rhythms is a “privilege,” and that the song is ”one of those melodies that never goes out of style and is already part of the DNA of our festival.”
Javier Caraballero, the Councilor for Festivities, added that securing an international group like Los 4 for both the Carnaval de Calle and the Queen Adulta Gala is “an honor,” and will contribute to making this year’s festivity “memorable.”
This collaboration reinforces Santa Cruz’s international appeal and solidifies its position as a leading Carnaval destination worldwide.
