Musician David Banda, son of Madonnawas caught this Thursday (2) on the balcony of the Copacabana Palace observing the stage and the entire structure that were set up in the sand for the world tour “The Celebration Tour”, next Saturday (4).

The young man is staying at the hotel with his mother, sisters and the pop queen’s team. Altogether, they occupy 92 rooms.

The presentation, with free entry, is expected to attract more than 1.5 million people and will be the end of the tour that celebrates the star’s 40th anniversary.

While David preferred to stay at the hotel, Mercy James, also the diva’s daughter, decided to go to the stage. The installation has 812m², with 24m² in front and 18m to the ceiling. The floor is being raised 2.40m above the ground, to facilitate the public’s view of the sand.

Three catwalks will be used by the singer and dancers during the performance. The central one is 22m long and the lateral ones are 20m long each.

Two days before the show, one sound test excited the audience on the edge of the South Zone this afternoon. Fans of the singer danced and sang to the rhythm of hits such as “Ray of light” and tried to see over the fences that are still in front of the stage and will be removed until the performance.

Some said they were hoping to see the singer during the sound check, but, until 3:41 pm, there was no Madonna on stage.

At around 4:15 pm, the show’s production team put up bars to keep fans away from the fences.
