“We in the Slovakia movement will go to the polls on Saturday and we will vote for Ivan Korčok, so that Slovakia does not become a country from which young people will flee to the world and leave only their own parents behind,” said Matovič.

The leader of the Slovakia movement called Korčok “a person who served his country faithfully for 30 years, an ordinary person with faults, but not malicious”.

Peter Pellegrini described Matovič as a person who “is without shame, honor, conscience, a person who likes luxury and served the mafia faithfully for 20 years”.

Korčok said in the RTVS presidential duel that he appreciates the support of the Slovakian movement, but rejects the attacks that were made by the movement’s chairman, Igor Matovič, towards Petr Pellegrini.

“I appreciate it because they are also aware of what these presidential elections are about and they know very well that they will decide whether there will be someone in the Presidential Palace who will carry out the orders of the current Prime Minister,” declared Korčok.

He claims that he values ​​the support of all the parties that gave him support, because it is obvious that these parties care about the future of Slovakia. “Unlike the coalition parties, they know what the rule of law is, they know that this is about democracy, they know where Slovakia belongs,” said Korčok.

The second round of elections will be held on Saturday. Ivan Korčok and Peter Pellegrini are fighting for the presidential palace. Voters elect the head of state for a five-year term.
