Morelos Launches state Group to Prevent Adolescent Pregnancy
The government of Morelos, Mexico, has established the State Group for the Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy (GEPEA) to address what officials are calling a public health, human rights, and social development issue. Karla Aline Herrera Alonso,Secretary of Education,announced that the ministry woudl make available spaces in secondary schools and the more than 377 high schools across the state to promote a culture of prevention and provide timely information and support.
