Nurses strike: Jurist says that in case of deaths MINSA can be taken to court –

Nurses in the province of Luanda may begin an indefinite strike, starting this Monday, the 11th, if the local authorities do not resolve the points in their list of demands.

According to the Provincial Secretary of the Union of Nursing Technicians in Luanda, Afonso Quileba, the strike will take place from tomorrow onwards, to demand from the employer the fulfillment of the demands contained in the demands list.

Kileba maintains that the Union is open to dialogue, a claim that, according to him, is not verified by the employer, which continues to remain silent.

However, jurist Daniel Pereira, regarding the strike called by health nurses in Luanda, warns that, in the event of high deaths as a result of the interruption of nursing technicians, the Ministry of responsibility may be taken to court.
