Giza prosecution authorities have revealed new investigative developments regarding the arrest of 26 individuals inside a private villa in the Green Belt area of the 6th of October City, a case widely known in local media as the October villa party. During official interrogation sessions, prosecutors questioned a defendant identified in court files as “M.S.”, widely known among the co-defendants by the alias “Misho”.
According to court documents released by investigators, an official medical report examining the defendant documented several scattered injuries across his body. The examination noted that these physical marks were old, while also confirming that the defendant tested positive for HIV.
During his testimony before investigators, the defendant claimed he sustained physical abuse during the police raid inside the villa premises. He alleged that a police sergeant attached to the vice squad struck him from behind on the head with a hard object, causing him to fall to the ground and sustain a laceration. He further asserted that the sergeant grabbed his hair, dragged him across the floor, and subsequently escorted him alongside the other detainees.
When questioned further by prosecutors about the specifics of the alleged altercation, the defendant stated that he received a single blow to the back of his head before being pulled along the ground. However, he explicitly clarified to investigators that the injuries detailed in the formal medical report did not stem from this alleged encounter with law enforcement. Instead, he maintained that those physical marks predated the raid and resulted from an old problem, acknowledging that the enforcement action itself left no new injuries.
Prosecutors formally confronted the defendant with charges of debauchery and engaging in illicit sexual acts under active investigation. In response, the defendant categorically denied all allegations leveled against him by state authorities, stating during the proceedings that the accusations “did not happen” and that he committed no such acts.
Judicial Rulings and Arrest Details
The legal proceedings surrounding the October villa party have already yielded judicial outcomes. An October court handed down a five-year prison sentence to six defendants, while sentencing 19 other individuals to three years imprisonment. Additionally, the court referred a minor defendant to the juvenile judiciary system to complete legal procedures.
Case files compiled by investigators indicate that three of the detained individuals spearheaded the promotion and organization of the gathering. These organizers advertised the party inside the villa located within the jurisdiction of the First October Police Station, drawing in 23 additional participants—including one female attendee—following agreements regarding attendance for financial sums that violated domestic legal regulations.
Following formal authorization from the public prosecution, a security task force moved to the villa site, arresting all defendants before the event could begin.
