A founding member of the iconic British band Oasis has temporarily stepped away from their highly anticipated reunion tour to focus on his health. Guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs announced his diagnosis of prostate cancer and subsequent treatment plan via Instagram on Friday, sharing both the challenge and the positive response he’s experiencing.
Early this year, Arthurs received the diagnosis. Fortunately, he’s responding well to treatment, which initially allowed him to participate in the “Oasis Live ’25 World Tour” that began July 4th in Cardiff, Wales. However, the next phase of his care requires a planned break from touring.
