PLASTIC ART – Fanjar exhibits “Flow with emotions”

The very first solo exhibition entitled “Flow with emotions” by Fanja Ramanandreibe, known as Fanjar, proposed by Ihoby Rabarijohn, is on view at the Flow Gallery Ivandry until June 14. The artist presents more than twenty paintings. “Through his works, Fanjar takes us into an emotional whirlwind, exploring in a way that is both structured and intuitive the infinite possibilities of techniques, notably those of collage. She leaves her signature in her way of sublimating the insignificant through recycling and the extreme sensitivity with which she expresses her commitments,” underlines Ihoby Rabarijohn, the curator of the exhibition.

Fanjar joined the world of applied arts after attending law school and studying Product Design-Interior Architecture in Paris, France, with a constant sensitivity to ecology. She discovered gemmology on returning home and another passion was born: that for minerals. This passion has led her to jewelry design for local brands like Pierre d’Argent, NAVA, Gemma Madagascar, since 2020. In 2018, she participated in the “FLUX” exhibition with Miora Acker. In 2023, his academic career as well as his works aroused varied criticism, then triggered a real surge of emotions during the collective exhibition which links art and the environment, “Antson’ny tontolo miaina”, in the Zital Zone in Antananarivo.
